Store Closing

chartreuse style store front

Dear Customers and Friends,

These last few years have been very trying, requiring a lot of change and then change again.  I know I am not alone in taking time to reflect on what is important in life, so I am making one more change.  I love my little shop and all the customers and friends that supported my sustainable fashion endeavor; however, it is time to let it go and make room for something new in the neighbourhood.

As the retail part of my eco-friendly fashion journey is coming to an end, I want to thank all of my customers and friends that came through my doors throughout the 11 years. You were enthusiastic about changing the world one garment at a time.  I plan to continue to design and produce my KOWALA WEAR line for events and online sales. If you are a fan of my clothing, please sign up for email updates on the site or follow @kowalawear on social media FB or Instagram.

Thank-you for your continued support throughout the pandemic by ordering online and shopping at the door when we couldn’t open. I’m grateful for all of you that ordered my masks, especially when I was first figuring it all out; that is what kept me going throughout 2020 and 2021.  I enjoyed coming to your homes to deliver packages of clothing, beauty products, and masks when you couldn’t come into the shop, so thanks for giving me purpose.

We don’t have a closing date yet but, hopefully, it will be sometime in the summer when we find a new business to take over the space. I will immediately start discounting all the items I want to clear. You can still shop ONLINE for most of the current items on SALE; however, I highly encourage you to come into the shop.  I will be expanding my hours this week.  In the coming weeks, I will be adding more items to the store as I clean out my backroom and samples from my studio, so stay tuned by following @chartreusestyle on FB or Instagram or sign-up for email if you haven’t.

Again, thank-you for your support of my little green business and I hope to see you soon!
